                        It has been discovered that the LXS 4 SDI switch maybe wired wrong.  The bare wire jumper on the switch should look like the picture below, however, this jumper maybe wired one switch position clockwise from its correct location.  This mistake will cause the wrong transponder side to identified as follows:  ALL CALL position will ID the transponder as XPNDR #1 and the XPNDR #1 position as XPNDR#2 and the XPNDR#3 as ALL CALL.

                        If you find this to be the case please rewire the jumper on the switch as in the picture below.

ON / STBY Switch should have a Black with White wire connected to the top terminal of the switch.

Subject: Panel Lights Primus 200 radar system harnesses.

LW7011 Linaire harness modification for the addition of Panel Lamps require the following changes to the harness.

Parts Required:             6 feet of Belden cable   8489

 

Follow the pin to pin list to add this cable into the LW 7011 harness.

First wire P-101 Mono ( KPTO 6 B 18-32S) on the radar units harness end.

Second tyrap the new cable along the LW7011 harness IND cable.

Third open the LW7011 IND (DPX 57 34P) connector, trim cable and wire as listed.

Subject: Panel Lights Primus 800 radar system harnesses.

LW7014 Linaire harness modification for the addition of Panel Lamps require the following changes to the harness.

Parts Required:     12 feet of Belden cable 8489
                                  1 Each DPX 57 34P connector
                                  1 Each DPX 22017 connector hood

Follow the pin to pin list to add this cable into the LW 7014 harness.

First, wire J-101 IND ( KPTO 6 B 18-32S) on the radar units harness end.

Second, tyrap the new cable along the LW7014 RT harness cable and then break away from the LW7014 RT at the panel end. You need to leave enough cable to allow the new IND connector to plug into the LW panel IND connector.

Third, wire the new DPX 57 34P connector as listed and mark it LW7014 IND.
