ADVANTAGES OF USING NEW LT 6 PANEL AND HARNESS:
The audio outputs, input voltage and current draw can be measured by the LT 6 panel meter. The COMM and SIDETONE audio can be monitored by the LT 6 panel speaker; no need for headphones to listen to the audio.  Also tip jack access to the audio lines and variety of other signals.

POWER REQUIREMENTS:
The above units run on 28VDC.  Set the LT 6 panel 14V/28V switch to 28V. This supplies 28VDC to the unit under test when the LT 6 panel power switch is turned ON. The LT 6 Remote ON/OFF switch in the ON position will turn on the Unit Under Test.

SWITCH IDENTIFICATION:
LT 6 FUNCTION
14V/28V Select 28V output voltage to Unit Under Test
POWER/OFF Connects selected DC power to Unit Under Test.
REMOTE ON/OFF Energizes the Unit Under Test.

TEST/NORM

Select NORM and leave in NORM except when testing a mike or headset.
ICOM/COM Select COM to apply LT 6 panel Mike Jack to Comm Mike line. Tip Jack 26 can also be used to input mike audio.
  KEY/OFF Select KEY when not using a microphone to key the Unit Under Test.
AUX/COM Select COM to apply COMM Audio output to panel phone channel. Select AUX to apply SIDETONE Audio output to panel phone channel. Output is available at LT 6 panel Phone Jack and at panel speaker when selected. The COMM Audio is available at Tip Jack 24 and is metered by the LT 6 panel meter set to COM. The SIDETONE Audio is available at Tip Jack 25 and is metered by the LT 6 panel meter set to AUX.
S1 POSITION P1 Select position P1 for Serial Port A or center OFF for Serial Port B
S1 POSITION P2 Select position P2 for FM Mode
S2 POSITION P1 Select position P1 to ground SDI 1
S2 POSITION P2 Select position P2 to ground SDI 2
SPEAKER/MUTE
/PHONES
Select Phones for amplified COM audio or AUX audio in LT 6 panel Speaker.
VOLUME Adjust to full CW when measuring audio RMS or using a watt meter at the Phone Jack.
PANEL METER SWITCH The Panel Meter can be used to monitor the following: DC Volts applied to the Unit, DC Current draw of the Unit, RMS volts of the Comm audio, RMS volts of the AUX audio.
