LA2023 NOTE SHEETThe KX 155 is a Comm Transceiver and Navigation Receiver with an optional Glide slope Receiver and optional Audio Amp. The KX 165 is a COMM Transceiver and Navigation Receiver with VOR/LOC converter and an optional Glide slope Receiver. The LA2023 is provided with a 14/28 volt switch, a Nav/Comm phone audio switch, three KX unit connectors and two indicator connectors. The 14/28 Volt switch selects the proper input lines corresponding to the operation voltage of the unit under test. The Nav/Com phone audio switch connects either Nav or Comm phone audio to the phone circuit of the LA panel. On those units with an audio amp option this switch should be positioned to the opposite circuit of the one being tested. This is to remove the loading from the circuit under test. Of the three KX connectors provided only two are used at one time, P401 and P 901 155 for the KX 155 or P 401 and P 901 165 for the KX 165. Two indicator connectors are provided. One is for the KI 208/209 and the other is for the KI 202,203,204,206,207. Only ONE connector is used at a time. Indicators that are compatible with the KX 155 or 165 unit being tested must be used. The following list can be used to determine compatibility.
