L-240 Modification #920323
PURPOSE: Increase number of Audio Inputs and Outputs to increase testing capability. This modification is required for many of the newer L-240 test harnesses.
METHOD: Adding a fourth Audio Input/Output test jack and changing the operation of the Audio Input Switch by the addition of a switch labeled Audio/Normal.

PROCEDURE:
STEP1 Using Drawings of L-240 Modification #920323 on following pages, locate and drill three .250 inch holes in the L-240 panel face. Mount parts and mark panel front as shown.
STEP 2 Locate the green #22 wire connected from the rear deck, center tap, of the Audio Input Select switch to the ground lug at the right of connector P1. Disconnect at ground lug and reconnect this end to the center terminal of the Audio/Norm switch.
STEP 3 Connect the new black #22 wire from the Audio/Norm switch, top terminal, to the Audio 4 black tip jack, Then connect the other end to the ground lug at the left of panel connector P2.
STEP 4 Connect the new white #22 wire from the Audio/Norm switch, bottom terminal, to the Audio 4 red tip jack.
Make note on rear of panel and in maintenance records that modification #920323 is installed.
